Forest Restaurant Project - Bulgaria

Project Overview:

The Forest Restaurant, nestled within a hotel in Bulgaria, was a collaborative design effort by Kuca Design's support team. This project is a tribute to the serene natural environment surrounding the hotel, reflecting the beauty of the outdoors within the restaurant's interiors. The design aimed to create a cozy and inviting space that seamlessly blends with the natural landscape, offering guests an immersive dining experience.

Atmosphere, Color Palette, and Concept:

The atmosphere of the Forest Restaurant is designed to be warm, welcoming, and deeply connected with nature. The color palette primarily consists of earthy tones such as warm browns, soft greens, and natural stone grays, which complement the surrounding forest scenery. The concept revolves around bringing the outside in, with large windows that allow natural light to flood the space, creating a harmonious balance between the interior and exterior environments.

Room Descriptions:

  • Dining Area: The main dining area features rustic wooden tables and chairs, paired with plush cushions in green hues that echo the surrounding foliage. Stone walls and wooden beams add texture and warmth, creating a space where guests can enjoy their meals in a setting that feels both luxurious and natural. The layout is designed to offer both intimate dining experiences and larger gatherings, with tables positioned to maximize views of the forest outside.

  • Bar Area: The bar area is a focal point within the restaurant, with a striking combination of stone and wood materials. The bar itself is crafted from rich, dark wood, while the backdrop features a stone wall adorned with shelves that hold a curated selection of spirits and wines. Pendant lights with amber-colored glass shades hang above the bar, casting a warm glow that enhances the cozy ambiance.

  • Lounge Area: Adjacent to the dining area, the lounge offers a relaxed space where guests can unwind. Comfortable sofas and armchairs are arranged around a central fireplace, creating a cozy nook perfect for enjoying a drink or a light snack. The lounge is designed with large windows that offer panoramic views of the forest, allowing guests to feel connected with nature even while indoors.
